Ground Defense 101: Troubleshooting the Same Side Grip Break

Are you having a hard time twisting your wrist?

Here, you can see, some of the participants were having issues with twisting their wrist out of a strong grip.

One of the biggest issues was that many people try to make the movement into two movements:
1) Twist the wrist to find the space.
2) Pull the arm by bending the elbow.

The goal with these movements is to COMBINE the movements as one movement, and you’ll notice how much easier the move is it execute.
